WHAT IS THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE?
Immerse yourself in Kodály education by attending our annual conference! Each year OAKE hosts a Conference for professional development and honor choirs. From coast to coast, OAKE has hosted hundreds of sessions with thousands of teachers, students and guests. The OAKE National Conference is held in an OAKE Division and hosted by a local OAKE Chapter.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
Go to the Rates and Registration page for examples of Conference Rates. Instructions and links to the Registration form will be here in Fall 2019.
HOW DO I ADVOCATE TO ATTEND?
Music is officially considered part of a well-rounded education of every student. School and district administrators may even have resources to support professional development for teachers. Templates for asking your district for support will be posted here soon.
WHAT WILL THE SCHEDULE BE?
The Conference normally follows a Thursday to Sunday outline. Sessions start at 1 pm on Thursday, followed by the Opening Ceremonies. Friday and Saturday are full of sessions, with fun events and concerts schedule throughout. Sunday usually wraps up by 12 pm.
Graduate Credit for conference attendance is available from the Kodály Music Institute (https://www.kodalymusicinstitute.org)
